Higher Insights - Accreditation

Metaphysics is clearly in a league of its own. If it wasn't; then you would have been able to sign up for metaphysical classes in your local school, college or university. Because metaphysics deals with spirituality and draws upon various religious texts, for the purpose of enhanced self understanding and empowerment, it can be classified as a self development study. Self development is not an academic study, but an introspective study.
   Our average schools, colleges and universities certainly don't teach us a lot about leading a balanced, successful, spiritual and fulfilled life. Thus; a gap was formed and a variety of self development schools, academies, colleges and universities came to being. The emergence of these institutions gave rise to accreditation agencies, because valid and recognized accreditation does not exist in the self development field.
   For a metaphysically orientated company, like Higher Insights, to affiliate with an accreditation agency, whose focus on professionalism is quite a stretch to include the spiritual, is absurd. Higher Insights firmly believes that metaphysical courses should be judged by the quality of content, as well as what a student can do after successful completion of the course. Certainly professionalism is a major part of what we stand for, but how professional is it to pay a fee just to get your course accredited by an accreditation agency?
   Most accreditation agencies simply require you to pay a fee to get your course "accredited" with them. Sure they have some rules and regulations for becoming accredited, but those rules and regulations can be easily met after a prompt payment. Higher Insights therefore chooses not to affiliate with accreditation agencies. Affiliating with such agencies might fool the lesser informed majority, but we are not into winning the majority over. We are seeking the strong minority with some higher insights, that will help us empower the consciousness of this planet.
   Ok, with this out of the way, what other option is there for a metaphysically orientated company to become accredited? ETDP SETA accreditation? Unfortunately, ETDP SETA does not have extensive metaphysical background, and is therefore not in a position to accurately judge or establish metaphysical educational standards.
   Accreditation is just an arbitrary tool employed by the mainstream establishment. It has nothing to do with Truth, which, after all, is what Metaphysics is all about.
   It is wise, therefore, not to be fooled by "accreditation" when it comes to self development studies. We devised a quick reference system that can help those on the verge of purchasing a self development course:

1. Does the course offer a money back guarantee?
2. Does the course offer good content value?
3. Is the course priced to make a huge profit out of you?
4. Is the course based on proven modalities?
4. Can you earn your money back multiplied after completion of the course?
5. Who developed the course? What is his or her credentials and achievements?

   You are therefore encouraged not to seek "accreditation" when it comes to self development studies, but to use the above mentioned criteria to help you decide. Having an "accredited" certificate, diploma or degree in the self development field does not exist, and it will not be long before the public at large realizes it. Please do not be fooled by those providing self development courses that claim accreditation.
